MCG Construction are currently recruiting on behalf of a Tier One Contractor for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to work on a large highways/infrastructure project.
In order to be eligible for the role you must have:
· Good working knowledge of NEC4 contracts/commercial law
· Experience with NEC forms of contract
· Previous experience of managing the Client and Subcontractors
· Knowledge of commercial digital systems (Oracle, CEMAR and Projectwise)
· Experience of providing commercial advice to delivery team
· Experience of supporting cost control and capture
· Ability to deliver Supply Chain management within budget and time constraints
· Ability to support the timely and professional management of Client and Supply Chain contractual obligations
It would also be desirable if you have a MRICS or CICES along with a degree or equivalent in commercial related subject
