It’s been very literal for us as our business grows in the Northern regions. You only have to visit our northern HQ nestled in the heart of Manchester City Centre to see the wealth of new construction projects interspersed between the city’s more historical architecture.
Of course, the recent increase in construction activity is largely due to the ambitious infrastructure plans for the North West and other Northern regions.
The HS2 scheme will make the North more accessible via London and Birmingham, as well as the huge road tunnel planned between Manchester and Sheffield, halving commute times between the two cities.
This project is noteworthy as it would become, if it was built, the largest road tunnel in the world!
Of course, industry in Manchester has seen a large increase in jobs due to the relocation of the BBC as well as many large multi-national companies opening up premises in the city.
Situated on King Street, the McGinley CEP North office is the perfect base for a construction recruitment company as ambitious as we are.
