Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary:£25k-£31k

MCG Construction has a new opportunity for a qualified Service Engineer for a major contract in Stoke-on-Trent.

What will I be doing?

The primary job function of this role is to mechanically construct all SOLYS products (standard/non standard) in line with quality documentation and quality system including GA & P&ID diagrams.

Ability to work with ABS & Upvc pipework and fitting.
Welding work
Ability to read and terminate electrically to an industry acceptable standard when required, to termination and schematic diagrams.
To complete all above tasks within specified timescale.
Fabrication and welding of carbon and stainless steel assemblies

Do I have what it takes?

The job requires a good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts & principles upon which the job is based.
The knowledge can be acquired through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. The skills and knowledge level can be equivalent to a specialised level within a skilled trade, but are generally non-theoretical skills.
Health and safety responsibilities are met or exceeded.
Ensure work area housekeeping is met or exceeded.
