Construction Planner - Manchester

Salary: Up to £80,000 + Comprehensive Benefits Package

This is a prime opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the successful planning and execution of landmark high-rise projects in the city.

The Role:

As a Construction Planner, you will be instrumental in developing, managing, and overseeing project schedules, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of large-scale developments. Your strategic planning expertise will be key in coordinating resources, mitigating risks, and maintaining project alignment with timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive construction schedules for high-rise developments.
  • Work closely with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to facilitate seamless execution.
  • Monitor progress, track key milestones, and ensure adherence to project objectives.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays.
  • Prepare detailed progress reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on resource allocation, sequencing, and construction methodologies.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Construction Planner, ideally within high-rise or large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and critical path management.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing project risks.
  • Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Planning, or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
