Key Responsibilities

In this role the Administration Team Leader is fully responsible for the management, coaching, development and performance of all direct reports. You will also be responsible for delivering performance to set client KPIs/SLAs and to develop the team through SMART objectives and goals, mentor and coach team using gap analysis to identify training needs and be responsible for ensuring the team's work is completed to acceptable standards and in a timely manner. You will ensure clear team communication by holding regular monthly team meetings and daily 'huddles' to ensure the team are aware of their performance, communication of the company updates and to gain feedback and drive best practice.

The Administration Team Leader will manage the induction, training and development of new team members and build and maintain relationships with clients and internal customers. You will also monitor accuracy and compliance of information provided to clients, 3rd parties and internal customers, ensure compliance with all the companies policies and manage any performance issues using the company disciplinary process whilst ensuring the timely production of all reports required by the client or senior management and provide management support and cover to other teams within the back office.

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role as an Administration Team Leader, you will have previous first line management experience and be a self-motivated individual who is performance driven. You will thrive under pressure and take ownership of your work whilst being a team player with a 'can do' attitude. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to use your own initiative to proactively resolve issues and be able to deal with conflict. You will have experience mentoring and coaching a team and be client and internal customer focused. It is essential that you are analytical, have excellent administration skills and you are computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Although not essential, it would be great if you also had experience in Utilities.
