MCG Construction are recruiting for a permanent Electrical Project Manager to work remotely with occasional visits to the office in Wakefield,West Yorkshire

Experience working in a retail setting, particularly within the supermarket sector, would be an advantage in order to succeed in this role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic electrical project manager to accelerate their career and progress within the retail electrical M&E sector.

Our client has experienced a phenomenal amount of growth during 2020 with an ambitious growth strategy for 2021, thus they are looking to expand their team within their Electrical fit-out division. If successfully hired, you would be reporting directly to the Electrical Lead providing ample opportunities for career progression as the business and division grows.

Strong and demonstrated knowledge of LED lighting switch overs and electrical installation occasionally within a live environment will be a necessary advantage as well as experience working with a tier 1 or tier 2 contractor would be preferable.

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate capabilities of implementing health & safety processes & procedures, liaising with clients & contractors and building strong working relationships, managing supply chain, producing scope of works and liaising with the design team and other in house functions. The ability to motivate, manage and inspire direct reports and contract teams is essential.
