The Role

  • 100% new business development role to sell our Construction Logistics services offering to new and existing clients
  • Maintain a high and constant level of communication with potential clients
  • Profile, interpret and agree customer requirements
  • Build and develop our client base further by client mapping companies and up and coming projects across multi sectors across the Construction market
  • Add and maintain all client information and using our Sales Force CRM to track all new opportunities
  • Be responsible for client communication throughout each tender opportunity with the support of our Bids & Tender manager on each submission
  • Networking calls to senior clients to arrange presentations of the services we offer
  • Arrange meetings with key account clients, new and existing, with a view to increasing the number of tenders we receive to build our business and present Construction Logistic solutions to their businesses
  • Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with construction trends
  • Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them inline with our business plans
  • Possessing a strong understanding of our Logistic services, the competition in the industry and positioning
  • A strong understanding of construction and / or construction logistics
  • Nationwide travel may be required for site visits, business meetings and presentations

  • Excellent communicator, verbally and written
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Strong presentation skills
